What is Elementary Battle of the Books?

• BOB is Battle of the Books, a quiz-bowl format competition for 4th & 5th graders sponsored by NCSLMA (North CarolinaSchool Library Media Association). 
• TES will select a maximum of 12 members for our team.
• To be eligible to be selected for the team students must have taken and passed ALL 15  quizzes on the books.  Students must read all the books. Any student who has met the requirement of reading all 15 books, will then be given a title and author quiz as well as a quiz with questions from all books. Team will be the top scorers on these three items.
•  **If less than 12 students have read all the books, then there will not be additional testing. Those students will make the team.**
• Elementary competition will be held Thursday, March 21, 2023 at the Unity Center in Statesville.
